The Attorney General’s Division of Victim Services and Criminal Justice Programs serves as a strong national leader in grant administration, compensation, advocacy services for victims and victims’ rights, appellate notification services, and offers referrals and information. The division also provides up-to-date cutting-edge training, through the Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute, to law enforcement personnel, crime victim advocates and others. In addition, the division hosts the annual National Conference on Preventing Crime and the Florida Council on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys Conference, administers the Address Confidentiality Program, and oversees grants for Crime Stoppers, Urban League and General Revenue grant programs.
These services are administered through three bureaus: Bureau of Advocacy and Grants Management, Bureau of Victim Compensation, and the Bureau of Criminal Justice Programs.
