Combating the National Opioid Crisis

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi filed an action in state court against some of the nation’s largest opioid manufacturers and distributors for their role in the opioid crisis. The complaint names as defendants the major opioid manufacturers, Purdue Pharma L.P., Endo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cephalon, Inc., Allergan plc, Mallinckrodt LLC, and related companies, as well as the major opioid distributors, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation, Cardinal Health, Inc., McKesson Corporation, and related company.

On Nov. 16, 2018, Attorney General Bondi filed an amended complaint in her ongoing court action. To view the news release and amended complaint, click here.
