Keep Your Property, Inc.

An investigation conducted by members of the Attorney General’s Economic Crimes Division, working as part of the Attorney General’s Mortgage Fraud Task Force, determined that Keep Your Property, Inc. allegedly guarantees it will file any/all required paperwork with the homeowner’s mortgage company preventing future foreclosure action, lower the homeowner’s current interest rate, and lower the balance of the homeowner’s mortgage payments. The company also allegedly told homeowners to stop making payments to their mortgage companies.

Consumers reported to the Attorney General’s Office that they paid an up-front fee of $2,200 and monthly fees of $550, but after several months determined from their banks that no action had been taken by Keep Your Property, Inc. and no contact had ever been made with the lenders.

The lawsuit also names Economic Alliance Group, Inc., Centro De Prevencion Y Educacion Corazones Unidos H.I. Visida, Inc., a Florida not-for-profit corporation, and company officers William R. Colon and Carlos A. Hernandez.

Consumers who wish to file a complaint about the company may do so by filing an affidavit with the Attorney General’s Office. The affidavit form with instructions is provided below.
