United States Supreme Court
The new term for the United States Supreme Court starts today and the Court has taken a number of interesting cases, including Kentucky’s lethal injection case, Baze v. Rees, 07-5439. The brief of petitioners is to be filed with the Clerk and served upon opposing counsel on or before 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2007. The brief of respondents is to be filed with the Clerk and served upon opposing counsel on or before 2:00 p.m., December 28, 2007. Oral Arguments are expected sometime in January or February 2008.
